He was a very nice person.  He had a lot of friends.  I was really not a close friend but I knew him.  His family will miss him greatly.

So sorry to hear of Peter's passing.  He was a great guy who was quick witted and always had a joke to tell.  I don't know if he ever pursued a role as a comice but it sure seemed like his calling to me.  All the best Peter.  Rest easy in God's arms.

Very sorry to hear about Peter passing. I enjoyed my conversations with him and enjoyed listening to him play his guitar. He will be missed. I will say a prayer for him and his family.

O'm so sorry to hear about Pete's passing.  He was a good friend of my since middle school at Meadowlawn.  He and I would always tell jokes to each other, and he liked the voice impressions i would do for him.  He is really going to be missed.

Pete and I would sometimes study together. He often came to our house and bring his guitar. He was so easy to talk to and laugh with. I can't help but look back on those days and smile. He was a truly good guy.

Peter was a force filled with humor and worries.  He died here in St. Petersburg, not far from where he grew up.  His last years were difficult after suffering a series of strokes.  Many of us continued to spend time with Pete and Susie well into the early 1990's.  He has two great kids Brennen and Nolan.

May you rest in peace Peter.  I remember studying with Peter during our Modular scheduling days.  He was quite a book worm.  A lot of times he would read three or four books at a time.

I did not know Peter personally but it always very sad to hear of another Viking passing. Prayers for peace and comfort for his family....

Peter always made me smile!  Such a nice, sweet guy... a real human being!  If I remember correctly, didn't Peter perform in our talent show in senior year?  He sang "Cause it's One! Two! Three!  What are we fightin' for?" (The Viet Nam Song.)  He sat on a wooden stool with his guitar and sang so beautifully!

Many years after graduation, I was so happily surprised to see a fun article written by him in the newspaper... it was tongue-in-cheek, complete with before and after photos of a "makeover" that he'd had done.  I cut it out and have kept it all these years.  It's posted in my profile's photos for everyone to see how our boy made good!  His photos will make you smile through your tears.  "Peter Smith... to know you was to love you!"  My deepest sympathy and condolences to your family.  Sigh.
