passed away Tuesday July 29, 2008. She was a loving and giving person who touched everybody's hearts and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We love you very much. Survivors include 2 daughters, Christina Caro (and her son Johnathan Buckland), Marcella Caro (and her daughter, Giavanna Bennett); a son, William Caro; her mother, Mary C. Metz; and 2 sisters, Beverly and Maureen Metz. Graveside services will be 10:30 am Friday Aug. 1, 2008, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. CARO, RONALD JOHN, 58, of St . Petersburg , died Thursday (Aug. 21, 1997) at VA Medical Center at Bay Pines. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., he came here 30 years ago from Nashville, Tenn., and was a self-employed painter. He was a Navy and Marine Corps veteran and a member of DAV Post 91, Pinellas Park. He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Barbara M.; and a son, William John, two daughters, Christina Caro Buckland and Marcella Alexandria Caro, his mothe r, Judith Gallagher, and a sister, Sandra Hotlen, all of St . METZ, WILLIAM, 82, of St . Petersburg , died Monday (Sept. 30, 2002). He came here in 1952 from his native Detroit. He owned the William Metz Barber Shop in the Pennsylvania Hotel in St . Petersburg . He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary; three daughters, Maureen Metz, Seattle, and Beverly Metz and Barbara Caro, both of St . Petersburg ; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
