Mrs. Beverly Kay Goodman, 45, of 545 Offing Drive, Fayetteville, died Saturday in UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She spent five years in Haiti as a missionary with Gospel Team Outreach. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cliffdale Christian Center by Apostle John Kelly. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park West. Arrangements are being handled by Rogers & Breece Funeral Home. Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband, Pastor Emory Goodman of the home; two daughters, Jennifer M. Goodman and Jessica J. Goodman, both of the home; a son, Joshua J. Goodman of Raeford; her mother and stepfather, Geneva and Gene Walters of Spring Hill, Fla.; and two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cliffdale Christian Center Mission Fund, 6427 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, N.C. 28314.
