Mark "Trapper" Travis, 58, of Marco Island, died unexpectedly from cardiac surgery complications on Friday, Sept. 2, in Petoskey, Mich.

Services will be private.

Travis and his family have owned and operated Trapper Custom Marine of Marco Island and Naples for more than 23 years.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie; sons, Neil and Jason; grandchildren, Kaelyn Travis, Carter Travis, Savannah Adamski, Brandon Chaney and Tyler Chaney; in-laws, Roland and Jean Padgett; brother, Cliff Travis; sister-in-law Wendy (Ed) Vehling, two nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism, 2801 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Cleveland, OH 44104.
