New to St. Pete I began my Sophomore homeroom with Frank Johnson 2 desks from me. It was then that Frank and I became friends and continued to be very close until his passing in 2013. We were scuba diving buddies for a long time enjoying the Gulf, Keys, Cozumel, springs & caves, we even bought identical blue wet suits. On one Gulf dive trip with three other NEHI divers Frank grabbed 2 monster lobsters and shot 40 lbs. of grouper. Frank and I worked together selling area real estate. Started families, he married Debi (deceased) and had Ryan (fine young man). I married later and they blessed my wife and me with gifts. Frank and I did so much together that I viewed him as my older brother and still do. Frank, I still miss you very much and think of you often. May God keep and bless you and Debi.
